Solarsilk designs and builds bilingual site for Sears

Scripps Networks, owners of FoodNetwork, DIY Network, HGTV, and Fine Living Network, engaged Solarsilk to design and build a Flash microsite and banners for Sears.  The microsite appeared (now offline) on both DIY Network and HGTV.com and was completely XML-driven, allowing users to seamlessly switch between English and Spanish versions.

Solarsilk designed a series of header graphics and page elements for FoodNetwork.com: Giada De Laurentiis, Giada’s Weekend Getaways, Ingrid Hoffman, Sandra Lee, Paula Deen, Summer Cocktails, and Fall Farm Stand. These graphics have been replaced during FoodNetwork.com’s sitewide redesign.

Goodby engages Solarsilk to build Hyundai site

Goodby Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco, along with Transistor Studios in Los Angeles, engaged Solarsilk to build Hyundai’s ThinkAboutIt.com teaser site.  A massive broadcast ad campaign drove traffic directly to the site, which lived for about 4 weeks.  It has since been replaced by the permanent version of the site.Hyudai ThinkAboutIt.com
